Tristan recently joined our Coding Olympics preparation class and achieved an impressive top 20 position in the Coding Olympics 2024. Teacher Deddy: Hi Tristan! Congratulations on your fantastic achievement in the Coding Olympics! Can you tell us about your journey so far with coding?
Tristan: Hi, Teacher Deddy! Thank you! I started with Scratch programming and then I moved on to Python programming. Right now, I’m at an intermediate level with Python.
Teacher Deddy: That’s impressive progress! What inspired you to start learning coding?
Tristan: I got inspired by YouTube videos and my friends. I wanted to create my own projects and see how coding works.
Teacher Deddy: It’s great that you had such motivation. How did your achievement in the Coding Olympics make you feel? Did you expect to reach the top 20?
Tristan: It felt amazing! I wasn’t sure I’d make it to the top 20, but I worked hard and did my best. My parents were really proud of me, and that made me even happier.
Teacher Deddy: Your hard work definitely paid off! How do you think our coding preparation class helped you in the competition?
Tristan: The preparation class was really helpful. It taught me a lot of new things and gave me practice with real coding problems. It made me feel ready for the competition.
Teacher Deddy: We’re glad to hear that! How have your parents supported you during this journey?
Tristan: My mummy and daddy have been super supportive. They always encourage me and help me with my projects. I’m really thankful for their support.
Teacher Deddy: It sounds like you have a great support system at home. Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience?
